Karl Lowenbjer

Karl Lowenbjer has extensive experience in technology leadership and software engineering, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at byWiT since January 2023. Previously, Karl held the same title at Zensum AB from September 2019 to December 2022 and served as Interim Chief Technology Officer and Senior Software Engineering Consultant at Yabie from April 2018 to September 2019. Earlier roles include Head of Video Engineering at Magine TV and System Engineer positions at Videofy and TV4-Gruppen, focusing on video services and backend development primarily in Ruby and Go. Karl's career also includes a role as System Developer at Karolinska Institutet, where responsibilities included LIMS systems development and lab robot integration. Karl holds a degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, having completed studies from 2007 to 2012.
