C.A.C. Industries, Inc.

An affiliate of C.A.C. Industries, Green Asphalt, is seeking a full-time Scale House Operator to join the plant in Long Island City, Queens. Green Asphalt is a NYC-based 100% recycled asphalt manufacturer specializing in green infrastructure and development projects. The ideal candidate would be detail-oriented, organized, and possess great communication skills. The position is entry-level and there will be paid training.


  



The main job duties include:


* Weighing and recording the incoming and outgoing truck loads
* Writing tickets on multiple systems
* Running credit cards
* Walking up to the observation deck to check if loads of material are clean
* Receiving deliveries
* Organizing tickets and checking for any discrepancies


  



Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. This person will be communicating with truck drivers all day. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday and the occasional Saturday.
