Glen Harman (CMIRM)

Glen Harman has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Glen has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their expertise in risk management. Currently, they serve as the Head of First Line Risk Management at C. Hoare & Co. Prior to that, they were the Head of Risk at James Hay Partnership. Glen also spent a significant portion of their career at Nationwide Building Society, where they held several senior risk management positions. Glen directed risk and control professionals, coordinated with senior managers and executives, and introduced risk and control self-assessment processes. Glen has also led the implementation of IT control frameworks, performed risk control self-assessments, and managed operational risk in financial crime and risk management divisions. Glen'sextensive experience demonstrates their proficiency in enhancing risk and control understanding and accountability.

Glen Harman (CMIRM) received a Diploma of Education in Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained an Advanced Certification in Marketing from the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, completing their studies from 2002 to 2006. In addition, Glen has earned additional certifications including PRINCE2 Agile Project Management Certifications from APMG International in March 2013, and an ITIL Foundation Level certification from ISACA in March 2012.
