Daelus Lu

Daelus Lu has a strong background in business development and government affairs. Daelus is currently the Director of Business Development and Government Affairs at C-Quest Capital, where they work to provide access to clean and sustainable energy solutions in developing countries. Prior to this, Daelus held various roles at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), including Assistant Vice President and Regional Director, where they led negotiations and engaged with senior executives of Fortune 500 companies. Daelus also worked as a First Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Singapore, evangelizing Singapore's value proposition and collaborating with the Japanese government and nonprofit institutions. Daelus started their career at Barclays, where they held roles as an Analyst and Intern, gaining experience in APAC Equities Settlement, FX Derivatives Trade Control, and Know Your Client procedures.

Daelus Lu attended the National University of Singapore from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Finance. In 2010, they briefly studied at Aarhus University, also pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Daelus has obtained additional certifications, including WSET Level 3 in Wine in February 2020, the Italian Wine Scholar certification, and WSET Level 3 in Sake.
