Richie Farmer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Richie began their career as a Writer for Middlesboro Daily News from March 2005 to March 2006, where they identified news, conducted interviews, and performed detailed research. Richie then joined Ricoh Business Systems as an Account Manager from April 2006 to August 2007, where they maintained existing client relationships and identified new business opportunities.

In 2007, Richie Farmer joined TEKsystems as an Infrastructure & Telecommunications Recruiter until November 2010, responsible for understanding client needs and strategically hiring top talent. Richie then transitioned to the role of Account Manager, IT & Healthcare Services from November 2010 to April 2015, building lasting relationships with clients and IT professionals in the East Tennessee marketplace. From April 2015 to September 2019, Richie Farmer served as an Account Manager, Network, Infrastructure, & InfoSec Services at TEKsystems, overseeing the identification, placement, and management of IT professionals.

Most recently, Richie Farmer joined C Spire in August 2019 as an Enterprise Account Manager, responsible for delivering advanced IT solutions to clients. Richie then advanced to the role of Sr. Manager Customer Experience from June 2020 to January 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Customer Experience at C Spire.

Richie Farmer attended Bell County High School from 1995 to 1999 and earned a Commonwealth Diploma with a focus on Advanced Placement studies. Richie then attended Southeast Community College from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in General Curriculum. From 2001 to 2002, Richie attended the University of Kentucky, pursuing Mass Communications. Finally, they attended Lincoln Memorial University from 2002 to 2005, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications.
