Taciana Albuquerque

Taciana Albuquerque has had a diverse work experience, beginning with a Peer Mentor and FURI Participant role at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University in 2015. In 2016, they were a Summer Research Intern at the University of Pittsburgh (PFM-REU), where they were a main contributor to a project published in ACS Applied Energy Materials. In 2017, they worked part-time as a Barista at Steve's Espresso while studying Chemical Engineering at ASU full-time, developing great interpersonal skills and the ability to practice many languages. In 2018, they were a Research Intern at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. In 2019, they were a Research Intern at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Most recently, in 2020, they have been a Research Associate (Analytical Chemist) at C16 Biosciences.

Taciana Albuquerque obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University between 2014 and 2019. In April 2019, they also received 11 certificates from the Safety and Chemical Engineering Education (SAChE) Certificate Program, covering topics such as Managing Process Safety Hazards, Process Safety, Chemical Reactivity Hazards, Explosion Hazards, Fire Hazards, Hazard Recognition, Hazards and Risks: What Can Go Wrong?, Minimizing & Identifying Process Safety Hazards, Source Models, Toxicological Hazards, and Understanding Hazards & Risks.
