Joel Braunstein, MD has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Joel co-founded and served as the CEO of LifeTech Research, Inc from 2004 onwards. Additionally, they co-founded C2N Diagnostics in 2008 and held the positions of CEO, co-founder, and board member. Prior to their entrepreneurial endeavors, they worked in the field of cardiovascular medicine at Johns Hopkins Medicine from 1999 to 2007. Joel also served as a clinical scholar at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation from 2001 to 2003. Earlier in their career, they were a resident physician in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital from 1996 to 1999.

Joel Braunstein, MD pursued their undergraduate medical education at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine, where they obtained an MD degree from 1992 to 1996. Following their medical degree, they enrolled in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Harvard Medical School from 1996 to 1999. Dr. Braunstein then pursued further specialization in Cardiovascular Disease at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their medical training, they also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School from 2001 to 2003.
