Jason Tierney

Jason Tierney has over 20 years of professional experience in the IT industry. In 2016, they began working as the Senior Vice President of Managed Services at C3 Integrated Solutions + Steel Root, and later became a Partner, Vice President of Managed Services, with primary responsibilities including developing and providing excellent technical service to managed services and project-oriented clients. In 2013, they founded and became CEO of BeyondIT Consulting, LLC, which focuses on creating profit for small businesses in the Washington, DC area by optimizing their current technology resources. From 1998 to 2013, they worked at Corporate Network Services, Inc., where they held various roles, including Vice President of Product Development and Vice President of Consulting Services. From 1993 to 1998, they worked at the Wheaton Ice Rink as a Pro, where they maintained and supported a small Novell network, trained users on proprietary database software packages, and oversaw day-to-day cash management procedures. Additionally, they also worked at Giant Food in 1993 in an office role.

Jason Tierney began their educational journey in 1992 when they attended the University of Maryland. Jason did not receive a degree from the University of Maryland, but they did gain a MCP certification from Microsoft Corporation in June 1998. In 2005, Jason began studying Information Systems Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus and received a BS in 2008. During their time at the University of Maryland Global Campus, Jason also obtained an MCITP:EA certification from Microsoft Corporation in June 2008 and an MCSE certification in September 2007.
