Zaphya Jena

Zaphya Jena has a varied work experience in research and education. In 2018, they were a Counseling Intern at The Akanksha Foundation. In 2019, they were a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar and a Research Intern at Leadership For Equity. In 2020, they were a Content Writer and a Research Associate and Consultant at the Population Council. In 2021, they were a Research Consultant at the AKSHA Center for Equity and Wellbeing and at Mariwala Health Initiative. Finally, in 2023, they are a Research Consultant at C3Research.

Zaphya Jena completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Fergusson College in 2017, followed by a Post Graduate Certificate Course in Counselling Psychology from the same institution in 2018. In 2020, they earned a Master of Arts in Society & Culture from the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. Additionally, they obtained a N4 (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) certification from the Japanese Language Proficiency Test in 2016, as well as a Certificate Course in Japanese as a Foreign Language from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2015.
