Ashley E. Stewart, PhD, LSW, MSSW, currently serves as the MSW Program Director and Assistant Professor at Temple University College of Public Health since May 2021. In addition to this role, Stewart is a Racial Equity & Inclusion Subject Matter Expert at C4 Innovations. Previous academic positions include Assistant Professor and Online Program Coordinator at Temple University from July 2019 to May 2021, and Adjunct Lecturer at Columbia University from July 2017 to May 2021, where courses focused on power, race, oppression, privilege, and advocacy in social work practice. Prior experience also includes lectureships at The Ohio State University and Ohio Dominican University, as well as graduate assistantships and internship roles. Stewart earned a PhD in Social Work from The Ohio State University, an MSW from Columbia University, and a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University.
