Brandt Deakin

Brandt Deakin has over 14 years of work experience in the engineering and technology industry. From 2005 to present, they have been a Senior Embedded Software Engineer/Project Manager at CA Engineering, where they develop and modifies Linux device drivers and userspace applications, especially for wireless radios. Brandt has a solid understanding of hardware (RF and digital signals) and works with product/project design and directly with customers on sales and support of large projects. Brandt also coordinates and guides mixed teams to support customers (large and small) who are incorporating Qualcomm Atheros radios and processors into their products. From 2001 to 2005, Brandt Deakin was a Unix System Admin at the Eccles Health Science Library at the University of Utah.

Brandt Deakin attended Weber State University from 1998 to 1999, where they obtained an Associate's degree in General Studies. Brandt then transferred to the University of Utah and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
