Mike Burgess

Mike Burgess is an accomplished human resources leader with extensive experience in various industries. Currently serving as Vice President of People and Culture at CAA Atlantic since February 2022, Mike focuses on strategic leadership and enhancing the employee experience. Prior to this role, Mike was the Corporate Human Resources Manager at Black & McDonald Limited, where responsibilities included managing HR strategies and programs. Previous positions also include Human Resources Manager at Halifax Regional Municipality, Director of Human Resources at Xplornet Communications Inc, and Human Resources Manager at Wyndham Worldwide. Mike's educational background includes a degree in Business with a focus on Human Resources and International Business from the University of New Brunswick, as well as certifications in Chartered Professional in Human Resources and Labour Relations Foundations from Queen's University.
