Marcia Buchholz

Marcia Buchholz, MBA, CHRE, CPHR, is an accomplished human resources leader with extensive experience in strategic HR management across various organizations. Currently serving as the Vice President of People and Culture at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology since April 2024, Marcia previously held significant roles at The University of British Columbia, including Vice President of Human Resources and Managing Director of Human Resources Advisory. Prior experience also includes Associate Vice-President of Human Resources at The University of Calgary and leadership positions at IBM Global Business Services, Jayman MasterBUILT, EDS Canada, and Lifeworks Canada. Marcia holds an MBA in Human Resources from Royal Roads University and has completed additional education focused on mental health initiatives in the workplace.
