Abid Khan

Abid Khan has extensive experience in data management, insights, and program delivery. Their most recent position was as a Vice President of Data Management & Insights at Caary Capital, where they are currently employed. Prior to this, they worked at Scotiabank as a Global AI Platform Delivery program delivery manager, responsible for executing the program, developing delivery roadmap, managing stakeholders and vendors, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Abid also held roles at Scotiabank as a Senior Manager in Program Delivery and Data Systems Engineering, where they were in charge of project management, resourcing, vendor management, and stakeholder communication. Before joining Scotiabank, Abid worked as a Data Warehouse/Big Data Consultant at IBM, a Consultant Solution Architect at Scotiabank, a Consultant Data Architect at RBC Capital Markets, a Consultant Solution Architect at Scotiabank, a Senior Data Architect at ING Canada, a Data Warehouse Consultant at Royal Bank of Scotland, and a Data Migration Consultant at British Telecom. Abid Khan has an extensive education history in various fields. In 1989, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Government College University, Lahore. Following that, from 1992 to 1994, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad.

In 1995, Abid Khan completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Banking & Finance from Preston University. Continuing their education, they obtained several certifications and completed professional certificates. In 2019, they received a Professional Certificate in AI and Fintech from Wharton Online.
