Mats Wästvind has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Mats began their career as a Customer Operations Specialist at Lucent ME Technologies GmbH in 1999. In 2001, they joined TE Connectivity as an Inside Sales Specialist, before progressing to the role of Distribution Sales Manager - EMEA.
In 2005, Mats joined W.L Gore & Associates Scandinavia AB as a Key Account Manager, responsible for sales and development strategies for key OEM's in EMEA and India, including Ericsson, NSN, and Alcatel-Lucent. Mats held this position until 2014.
Since 2014, Mats has been with CAB Group AB, where they have held various roles. Mats initially served as a Key Account Manager, handling sales and marketing activities for Nordic insurance companies. From 2017 to 2020, they were the Head of Product Management - Motor Estimation, overseeing profit and loss responsibilities for the company's largest product segment and leading a team of professionals. In 2020, Mats transitioned to their current role as the Commercial Director - Automotive at CAB Group AB.
Mats Wästvind obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental- and Energy Science from Mälardalen University between 1996 and 1999. Mats also holds several additional certifications, such as Certified Product Strategist, Certified Product Manager, and ISPMA - Certified Product Manager. Mats has completed various courses and programs in areas such as building digital partnerships, product management, business acumen, requirements engineering, leadership, key account management, and strategic selling.
