Mallorie Fouch has worked in various scientific and research roles since 2014. In 2021, they began working as a Scientist (Translational Medicine) and Associate Scientist at Cabaletta Bio. From 2018 to 2021, they were a Research Associate II at Integral Molecular, where they identified b cell mediated epitopes on viral alanine scanned libraries, contributed to the virology team making reporter virus particles for MARV, SARS, VSV, and EBOV, and generated cell lines. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Research Assistant 2 at The Wistar Institute, where they managed their own project purifying the telomere capping complex, CST, for crystallography purposes and performed FPA assays to identify CST-DNA binding strength. Mallorie also performed lab manager duties such as keeping the lab well stocked and preparing necessary reagents. From 2016 to 2017, they were an Associate Lab Technician at WuXi AppTec. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Lab Research Assistant at Temple University Medical Building. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Student Lab Assistant at Lab Prep at the Biolife Building, where they organized and prepared materials for teaching labs, including making solutions and titrations, and prepared observational and experimental laboratory exercises. In 2014, they were also a Lab Research Assistant at Temple University School of Pharmacy and a University 1001 Peer Teacher at Temple University, where they met once a week for 11 weeks to discuss the topic of the class for the week and lead several class discussions about being a freshman at college.
Mallorie Fouch obtained their Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, General from Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in 2020. Prior to this, they completed a degree in Biochemistry from Temple University in 2015.
