Matthias Peter

Matthias Peter has a diverse and extensive work experience. Matthias is currently serving as the Lead Production Chemist and Deputy Head of Production at CABB, starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Chemgineering Group as a Senior Project Engineer from April 2021 to June 2022, where they focused on designing industrial equipment and facilities for customers in the Life Science Industry. Matthias also provided consultation to customers on GxP compliance, safety, and environmental issues, and conducted data analysis to improve facility efficiency.

Before joining Chemgineering Group, Matthias was a Product Development Chemist at BASF Catalysts from March 2016 to March 2021. In this role, they played a significant part in the development of new products. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Northwestern University from January 2014 to December 2015, specializing in their field.

Matthias started their career as a Doctoral Student at Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft from April 2010 to December 2013, conducting research in their area of expertise. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate at J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry from September 2009 to March 2010. Matthias began their research career as a Research Associate at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) / University of Karlsruhe (TH) from June 2009 to August 2009.

Matthias Peter then proceeded to obtain a Doctor's Degree in Chemistry from the Max Planck Society, graduating in 2013.
