Vinay Mishra

Vinay Mishra has extensive work experience in the chemical industry, with a focus on thermoset technologies. Vinay is currently serving as the Vice President of the Thermoset Resin Formulators Association, where they provide leadership to the industry association and ensures compliance with regulations. Prior to this role, they were the President for a 2-year term and served on the Executive Committee for 8 years.

Vinay's previous roles include working as the Technical Director of Thermoset Additives at Jayhawk Fine Chemicals Corporation, where they drove strategic business growth in coating, composite, and adhesive applications. Vinay also worked at Dixie Chemical Co. as a Business Development Manager for Thermoset Composites.

Before joining Dixie Chemical Co., Vinay was the Technology Manager Americas at Air Products. In this role, they led a team of scientists and directed new product development projects for amine curing agents used in epoxy and polyurea applications. Vinay also prioritized technical support projects for the Americas region, supporting customer applications such as metal/concrete coatings, concrete repair, and structural adhesives.

Prior to their time at Air Products, Vinay worked as the Director of Technology & Business Development at Royce Associates, A.L.P., and as the Director of Polyurethanes R&D at Sika.

Vinay's career began at ITW Performance Polymers, where they worked as an R&D/Innovation Manager. In this role, they led the new product development program and implemented a Stage-Gate process for product development. Vinay also provided technical support for new business and focused on continuous improvement in quality, manufacturing, and business processes.

Vinay Mishra holds a PhD and MS in Chemical Engineering (Polymer Science) from Lehigh University. Vinay also completed an Executive Program in Management (GBEP) from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Additionally, they obtained a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. Prior to their university education, Vinay attended N.C. Jindal Public School and Happy Model School in New Delhi.
