Jason Jackson

Jason Jackson has extensive work experience in the education and technology field. Jason started their career in Cabell County Schools in 2006 as a Teacher and later transitioned into roles such as Technology Integration Specialist and STEM Teacher. In 2014, they joined Common Sense Media as the West Virginia Education Manager, where they supported K12 teachers by providing resources and facilitating training. Jason returned to Cabell County Schools in 2016 as the Technology Specialist before being promoted to Director of Technology and Information Systems in 2018. Throughout their career, Jason has demonstrated a strong commitment to integrating technology in the classroom and supporting teachers in their professional development.

Jason Jackson completed their Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Marshall University in the period from 1987 to 2006. Jason further pursued their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Curriculum & Instructional Technology from Grand Canyon University from 2008 to 2009.
