Parry Casto is an experienced educator with a focus on science and elementary education. Currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Cabell County Schools since August 2016, Parry Casto has taught 5th grade at Explorer Academy in Huntington, WV, and has been responsible for developing and implementing various curricula for mixed-ability students. Prior experience includes teaching Chemistry and general science across multiple grade levels at Huntington High School and other middle schools, showcasing a consistent commitment to hands-on learning and curriculum design. In addition to teaching, Parry Casto is the founder and co-producer of Funktafest, an annual music festival in Huntington, WV, and has previous roles in environmental remediation and childcare coordination. Parry Casto holds degrees in Elementary Education and Secondary Education with a focus on Chemistry from Marshall University, as well as a degree from West Virginia University.
