Dr. Michelle Boltz, DNP, FNP, PMHNP, serves as a Rural Health Consultant while also providing hospitalist services at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center, utilizing Telemedicine programs to enhance care in rural settings. With extensive experience as an Independent Contractor, Dr. Boltz covers various healthcare needs across Critical Access Hospitals in Montana and Alaska. Previous roles include a Nurse Practitioner at the Center for Asbestos Related Disease, where Dr. Boltz conducted health screenings related to asbestos exposure, and Chief of Village Services at Maniilaq Association, offering comprehensive family practice in Noorvik, Alaska. Additional experience includes nursing instruction at Washington State University and as a Community Health Aide Practitioner Coordinator in Alaska. Dr. Boltz holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice focused on Rural Health and Telemedicine from The University of Alabama, a Master's in Nursing from Washington State University, and is pending certification as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse by December 2023.
