Janet Taylor

Janet Taylor, LL.B (Hons), is a legal professional with extensive experience in various areas of law. Currently, Janet serves as a Manager and Legal Counsel at Cable & Wireless Communications since August 2018. Prior to this role, Janet held the position of Associate in Corporate & Commercial law at Dentons from January 2017 to July 2018, where responsibilities included drafting legal opinions and contracts, as well as advising on various legal matters for the Commonwealth Caribbean jurisdictions. Earlier career experience includes serving as an Associate Attorney-at-Law at Clarke Gittens Farmer Attorneys-at-Law and participating in attorney training at George Walton Payne & Co. Attorneys-at-Law and Harridyal-Sodha & Associates Attorneys-at-Law, focusing on civil litigation and corporate law. Academic qualifications include a Legal Education Certificate from Hugh Wooding Law School, a Bachelor of Laws from The University of the West Indies, and an Associate's Degree in Law and Sociology from Barbados Community College.
