SVP, Safety, Health & Environment SH&E & Government Affairs at Cabot

Martin O'Neill's work experience includes a variety of leadership roles in the field of Safety Health and Environment (SH&E). Martin began their career at Weston Solutions, Inc. in 1984, where they served as a Project Director and led various technical project assignments for industrial clients in the US and internationally. In 1995, they joined TE Connectivity as the Director of SH&E, where they developed and implemented SH&E programs at multiple facilities and led global site remediation and facility closure efforts. O'Neill then moved to Cabot Corporation in 2002, initially as the General Manager of Cabot Supermetals and later as the Vice President of Safety Health and Environment. In their role as Vice President, they were responsible for safety and environmental performance, sustainability, government affairs, compliance, risk management, and more. Martin served as a strategic member of the executive leadership team reporting directly to the CEO.

Martin O'Neill completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology/Biology from Rutgers University, where they studied from 1978 to 1982. Martin later pursued further education, earning a Masters of Science degree in Environmental Science from Drexel University, where they attended from 1989 to 1991.
