Francis D. possesses extensive experience in the unmanned systems field, currently serving as the Vulnerability and Threat Assessment Pilot Team Lead at CACi since May 2021, where responsibilities include interpreting FAA and Department of the Army regulations and ensuring compliance for operations across over 50 locations. Previous roles include sensor operator at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, unmanned surface vessel operator at Harris Corporation, and avionics instructor at FlightSafety International. With foundational experience as an Electronics Technician and Search and Rescue Swimmer with Military Sealift Command, along with earlier positions in various technical and operational capacities within the unmanned aerial vehicle sector, Francis also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from the University of La Verne and a certification in Cloud Computing and Data Storage from ECPI University.
