Viveka Jani

Viveka Jani is an experienced professional in climate education and environmental communication, currently serving as the Programme Lead at The ClimAct Initiative since February 2023, where responsibilities include leading climate education initiatives and developing comprehensive training programs such as the Climate Leadership Programme and Mind the Gap. Previously, Viveka held the position of Science Communicator at Cactus Communications and contributed as a Programme Officer at the Centre for Environment Education, coordinating extensive climate literacy initiatives and events. Prior roles include working as an Executive at IL&FS Environmental Infrastructure & Services Ltd, formulating waste management solutions, and engaging in research internships at various environmental organizations. Viveka holds a Master's of Science in Environmental Studies and Resource Management, a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Law, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Science.
