Dr Andy Grodecki

Dr. Andy Grodecki is an experienced leader in the intersection of art, science, and environmental advocacy, currently serving as President of Consilience Qld Inc. since January 2023. Alongside this role, Dr. Grodecki has been a Councillor at The Royal Society of Queensland since January 2017 and a Science Communicator for the Queensland Government since 1991, promoting the Queensland Science sector. With a long-standing commitment to community arts and environmental initiatives, Dr. Grodecki holds memberships in several organizations, including Beaudesert and District Community Arts Project Association Inc., Scenic Rim Greens, Climate Action Network Australia, Wild Mountains, and Logan and Albert Conservation Association. Also a Union Delegate for Together (Queensland Public Sector Union) since May 2009, Dr. Grodecki is pursuing a Doctorate in Creative Industries at Queensland University of Technology, building on a strong educational foundation in environmental education, forestry, and horticulture.
