Sidney Ard

Sidney Ard has extensive experience in the drilling industry, currently serving as a Driller at Cactus Drilling Co since January 2018, specializing in 2,000 hp conventional brake handle SCR rig operations in the Delaware basin of New Mexico. Previous roles include A-Class Boilermaker at Repcon, Inc., and Driller positions at Parker Drilling Company, where exploratory wells were drilled in northern Iraq, and Patterson-UTI Drilling Company, focusing on advanced rig technology. Additionally, Sidney has worked as a Derrickhand and Driller with Axxis Drilling, handling high-volume inland barge rigs, and as Floorhand/Derrickhand at Energy Drilling, drilling vertical wells. Sidney completed General Studies at Brookhaven Academy high school between 1999 and 2003.
