Michael Marquis

Michael Marquis is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure management, middleware technologies, and enterprise architecture. Currently serving as SVP and Director of Strategic Infrastructure Programs at Cadence Bank since October 2015, Michael leads a team focusing on high availability, hybrid solutions, and security in the design of next-generation architectural services. Prior roles include Senior IT Consultant at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, where responsibilities encompassed leading a senior team in middleware technologies, and Technical Enterprise Architect at Regions Bank, providing architecture solutions for distributed systems. Michael’s career began at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Mississippi as a WebMaster and has evolved through various leadership positions, emphasizing virtualization and high availability across multiple platforms. Educationally, Michael is pursuing a bachelor's degree while having attended Hinds Community College and Delta State University.
