Michael Short

Michael Short began their work experience as a Credit Analyst at United Community Bank in March 2015. Michael then moved on to become an AVP, SBA Portfolio Manager at Ameris Bank from December 2015 to January 2020. Currently, they hold the position of VP SBA Senior Credit Underwriter at Cadence Bank starting from January 2020.

Michael Short obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Management with a minor in Financial Management from Clemson University. Michael attended Clemson University from 2010 to 2014, focusing on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications in Financial Planning & Analysis and FP&A Monthly Cash Flow Forecasting from the Corporate Finance Institute® in February and January of 2021, respectively.
