Lu-An Ko

Lu-An Ko is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in hardware and software development. Currently serving as Senior Group Director at Cadence Design Systems since July 2018, Lu-An is focused on recruiting top engineers in Taiwan. As a Co-Founder and full stack developer at mamaCook, Lu-An has expertise in scalable architecture using Ruby on Rails. Previously held the position of Principal R&D Engineer at Synopsys, where Lu-An utilized machine learning for VCS simulation enhancements and led significant architectural projects. Additional roles include Vice President of the Tsinghua Alumni Association of Northern California, Technical Manager at SpringSoft, and Manager at Novas, demonstrating a consistent record of driving innovation and revenue growth. Educational credentials include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University.
