Reza Jahanseir

Reza Jahanseir, Ph.D., is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Cadence Design Systems since January 2019, Jahanseir has previously held positions as Principal Software Engineer and Lead Software Engineer. Prior experience includes work as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut from August 2014 to January 2019, where Jahanseir focused on algorithms for metric data structures and conducted laboratory sessions for undergraduate courses. Additional roles include Senior Software Developer at Rai Andish and Sadad Informatics Corporation, where Jahanseir developed various software solutions including video surveillance systems and credit evaluation management systems. Jahanseir earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut, along with a Graduate Certificate in College Instruction, and holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology and Islamic Azad University, respectively.
