Oliver Smith

Oliver Smith has held a variety of roles in the technology and cyber security fields since 2002. Oliver began their career as a Network Engineer and C/C++/VB Developer at IntoAction Computers Ltd in 2002. In 2004, they moved to Mangoletsi Holdings Ltd as an IT Consultant and Network Engineer. From 2005 to 2011, they worked at CYFOR as a Senior Forensic Investigator & Expert Witness, where they were responsible for leading hundreds of complex digital forensic investigations and providing expert evidence in court. In 2011, they joined PwC UK as the Director, Threat Hunt Services Leader | Cyber Threat Detection & Response, where they were also the Cyber Diversity and Inclusion Leader. In 2021, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Cado Security.

Oliver Smith obtained a BSc (Hons) in Computing Forensics, First Class Honours from the University of Central Lancashire. Oliver also holds certifications from Tanium (Tanium TITAN, obtained November 2019), Guidance Software (EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), obtained December 2008), and GIAC (GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), obtained April 2013).
