Paul Bottomley

Paul Bottomley has worked for various companies since 2008, including Barclays, Betfair, PwC, Cybereason, and Cado Security. Paul started their career as a GRCB Technology Graduate at Barclays in 2008. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Lead Attack Detection Analyst for Betfair. At PwC, they held various roles from 2014 to 2021, including Cyber Threat Detection & Response and Endpoint Threat Detection Lead (Manager and Senior Manager). From 2021 to 2023, they served as a Principal Product Manager at Cybereason for their Data Platform and Threat Hunting products. In 2023, they joined Cado Security as a Principal Product Manager.

Paul Bottomley obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham between 2004 and 2008. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including the GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA) in April 2014, the GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) in November 2013, the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) in March 2011, and the GIAC Certified Security Essentials (GSEC) in May 2010.
