Marie-Josée Henri

Marie-Josée Henri has extensive work experience in the legal field. Marie-Josée is currently serving as the Vice President Legal at CAE since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Air Canada from September 2018 to September 2021, holding the position of Assistant General Counsel, Corporate & Commercial.

Before joining Air Canada, they had a long tenure at Bell Media starting from July 2013 to August 2018. During their time at Bell Media, Marie-Josée served as the Assistant General Counsel and later as the Senior Director, Legal Affairs, National Out-of-Home and Real Estate. Marie-Josée also led the Bell Media legal team for Quebec-based TV, Radio, and Digital, and played a crucial role in supporting Out-of-Home initiatives across the country.

Marie-Josée's career in the legal profession began at Stikeman Elliott LLP in 1994, where they served as a Student and Articling Student and gained experience in corporate, securities, litigation, and employment law. Marie-Josée continued to work at Stikeman Elliott LLP as a Senior Associate until 2005, advising clients in cross-border Canada-U.S. securities and M&A transactions.

Before joining Stikeman Elliott LLP, Marie-Josée worked at Paquette Gadler Inc. as an Associate, where they provided legal advice on contractual and litigation matters and M&A transactions. Additionally, they played a significant role in marketing the firm in the Montreal market.

In 2007, Marie-Josée joined Astral Media Outdoor L.P. as the Assistant Vice President, Legal Affairs, Out-of-Home / Director, Legal Affairs, Radio and remained with the company until 2013.

Marie-Josée started their career at Groupe TVA Inc. in 2005 as a Senior Counsel, gaining valuable experience before joining Astral Media Outdoor L.P.

Marie-Josée Henri completed their Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) degree at Université de Sherbrooke from 1991 to 1994. In 1996, Marie-Josée was called to the Bar at Barreau du Québec.
