Mario Zijlstra

Mario Zijlstra is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in educational roles and engineering. Currently serving as Crew Chief and Group Leader at CAE since March 2019, Mario has held multiple positions at CAE including Shift Leader and Simulator System Specialist. Prior teaching assignments include positions at Nordwin College and Ichthus Lyceum, where Mario taught Mathematics and Physics. Mario's engineering experience began in 2006 as a Simulator Engineer at CAE Aviation Amsterdam, and notable early roles include Web Designer at Dekave Trefnet and Management Trainee at GTI. Mario holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Computer, and Communications Engineering from Inholland University and multiple Bachelor of Education degrees focusing on Mathematics and Physics from NHL Hogeschool.
