Shane Stevens

Shane Stevens has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Shane has held various roles in different companies, including CAE, Merlot Aero Limited, Seabury Group, StevensConsulting, Etihad Airways, Navitaire, Accenture, Forte Solutions Ltd, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

At CAE, Shane worked as a Principal Product Manager, where they focused on crew optimization and integrated product offerings. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Principal Sales Engineer, responsible for integrating Sabre Air Centre and Merlot Aero product lines and supporting the sales process.

During their time at Merlot Aero Limited, Shane held several positions, including Chief Product Officer and Head of Optimization. Shane was responsible for developing a new generation crew management system with optimization and artificial intelligence components. Shane also played a crucial role in selling the vision and roadmap of the new generation product to airline partners.

Shane also worked as a Senior Consultant at Seabury Group, a Senior Business/Quality Analyst at StevensConsulting, and a Manager Crew Optimization at Etihad Airways. At Etihad Airways, they were responsible for vendor management and maximizing the outputs and results of the Adopt Optimization suite of products used within the Crew Resources department.

Before that, Shane has had roles at Navitaire, Accenture, Forte Solutions Ltd, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they gained valuable experience in business analysis, quality assurance, and consulting.

Shane Stevens obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from Massey University, completing the program in 2003. Prior to that, they attended the University of Otago from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with First Class Honours in Information Science. Their education journey began at Gore High School, where they completed their secondary education from 1989 to 1993.
