Samir Gibrial

Samir Gibrial is an experienced educator with a focus on teaching Arabic and English as a Second Language. Currently serving as a Teacher of Arabic at Caesar Rodney School District since August 2014, Samir has previously contributed as a tutor at the University of Delaware from January 2013 to October 2022 and taught Arabic and Middle Eastern culture to high school students at American Councils for International Education from August 2009 to June 2010. Samir's earlier teaching roles include ESL teacher positions in various high school settings between July 1999 and June 2008, and further specialization in advanced levels of ESL instruction. Samir holds a Bachelor's degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from the University of Sohag, obtained from 1990 to 1995, and has pursued additional educational opportunities in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2004.
