Jessie Krafft

Jessie Krafft has had extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Jessie began their career as an Office Assistant at Friends of the Orphans in 2006 and then moved on to work as a Translator/Interpreter at the Hispanic Liaison Office of Richmond in 2009. In 2010, they joined Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos as Visitor Coordinator/Tutor/Child Caretaker, where they managed international visitors and organized group visits to the orphanage.

Jessie's career in the non-profit sector continued when they joined CAF America in 2011 as a Grants Assistant. In this role, they played a vital part in managing and reviewing grantee reports and corresponded with donors and charities worldwide. Jessie also assisted in the implementation and transition of new grants management systems and developed and coordinated the new CAFAmerica Philanthropic Advisory Services program. Over the years, Jessie progressed within CAF America, taking on roles such as Grants Officer, Manager of Donor Advised and Grants Services, and Senior Director of Donor Advised and Grant Services.

In 2017, Jessie was appointed as Vice President of Donor Advised and Grant Services at CAF America, and in 2019, they became the Senior Vice President of External Affairs. Most recently, they served as the Interim Chief Executive Officer at CAF America. Throughout their tenure at CAF America, Jessie was responsible for managing grantmaking and charity due diligence operations, overseeing a grants team, and representing the organization through speaking engagements and conferences.

Before their time at CAF America, Jessie also gained experience as an Office Assistant and Teacher's Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University. Overall, Jessie Krafft's work experience demonstrates their dedication to the non-profit sector and their expertise in grantmaking and donor advisory services.

Jessie Krafft obtained a Certification in Anti-Money Laundering from The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) in 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Masters (MAID) degree in International Development/Sustainable Food and Agriculture from American University from 2013 to 2015. In 2013, they also obtained an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University. Jessie earned both a B.S. degree in Anthropology and a B.A. degree in Spanish from Virginia Commonwealth University from 2005 to 2009.
