Jennifer Mattson

Jennifer Mattson is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in legal operations, compliance, and corporate counsel within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Associate Vice President of Legal Operations at Nationwide since March 2017, Jennifer leads a team responsible for managing the outside counsel program and driving continuous improvements. Prior roles at Nationwide include Senior Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Nationwide Bank, where Jennifer managed regulatory compliance during significant conversions. Jennifer also held senior positions at Associated Bank, Digital River, and ACA International, focusing on areas such as payments, e-commerce, and legislative advocacy. Jennifer earned a JD from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a BA in Political Science from Gustavus Adolphus College.
