Ander Montes Pozo

Ander Montes Pozo has a diverse work experience in the engineering and project management roles. Ander has worked at CAF Turnkey & Engineering since 2013, starting as the Railway Subsystems Manager and later progressing to become the Project Manager. Ander also served as the Technical Manager for Liège Tramway BAFO Stage and is currently working as the Project Director for the Mauritius Metro Express LRT Project. Prior to CAF, they worked at GETINSA Ingeniería as a Railway Design Engineer, General Coordinator of the Greek Branch, and as a Start-up Project Coordinator in Vietnam. Ander was also responsible for Signalling and Telecommunications in Saudi Arabia. Ander started their career as an Assistant Chief Engineer at INFRACOMAN and earlier gained engineering experience as a Lab Engineer with IAESTE Program.

Ander Montes Pozo has pursued a comprehensive education in the field of engineering. From 1996 to 2004, they attended the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Fabrication. Following this, in 2004, Ander attended the INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon for a year, where they completed additional studies in Industrial Engineering, specifically Mechanical Design.
