Yongnien Tan

Yongnien Tan serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Cagamas Berhad since January 2022. Prior to this role, Yongnien held the position of Head of Information Technology and Transformation at Manulife Malaysia, where responsibilities included leading the company's digital transformation initiatives. Yongnien also served as IT Director for Asia Pacific at Sherwin Williams, overseeing the establishment of the Kuala Lumpur IT Delivery Center, and held the Deputy Director role at NCSI, where the focus was on developing an outsourcing center for telecommunications applications. Earlier career experience includes roles as a Java Software Engineer at net-linx, Software Development Manager at JobStreet.com, and Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman Information Systems. Yongnien holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Iowa State University.
