Richard Tree

Richard Tree is the current Chief Operating Officer at CAI. Prior to joining CAI, Richard served as the Director of Lean Operations at WillScot from October 2013 to September 2014. Richard has also served as the Chief Operating Officer at Polymer-Wood Technologies, a manufacturing start-up, from November 2012 to October 2013. Richard's previous experience also includes serving as the Vice President of Operations / Vice President of Transportation at Pavestone Company from April 2005 to September 2012 and as an Engineering Manager in the US Navy from August 1983 to March 2005.

Richard Tree has completed an MBA from Harvard Business School in Leading Professional Services Firms, an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business, a Bachelor of Science - BS in Information Technology from Columbia College, Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) coursework in Operations Management from The University of Texas at Arlington, and coursework for Master's of Science in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Richard has also completed Nuclear Power Technology & Operations training from the Nuclear Power School and has a D. Eng in Engineering Management from The George Washington University - School of Engineering & Applied Science. In addition, they have completed The Emerging COO: Driving Innovation and Operational Excellence program from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Richard is also certified by the US Department of Energy as a Data Center Energy Practitioner (DCEP).
