Eric Hutchings

Eric Hutchings is a seasoned mechanical design professional with over two decades of experience across various industries, including Industrial Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defense, and Medical Imaging. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Designer at CAID Industries, Inc. since April 2018, Eric specializes in custom product design, particularly in pressure vessel and tank design conforming to ASME standards. Previously, Eric worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Pensar Otra Vez, focusing on automation equipment design, and at Faxitron Bioptics, LLC, where responsibilities included maintaining FDA regulated documentation for digital x-ray imaging systems. Earlier roles include mechanical engineering positions at Rain Bird Corporation, where irrigation systems were designed, and at Saf-T-Cab, Inc., where designs for Roll-over Protection and Operator Cabs were developed. Eric holds a degree from California State University, Fresno.
