Xuemei Gu

Xuemei Gu currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Cainiao Networks, a logistics and supply chain technology subsidiary of Alibaba Group, where leadership focuses on integrating IoT, automation, optimization, blockchain, and AI technologies to enhance logistics efficiency. Concurrently, Xuemei Gu is the Vice President at Alibaba Group, overseeing the development of search, recommendation, and advertising products for the core e-commerce business, involving intricate interdisciplinary collaboration. Previously, Xuemei Gu was the Engineering Director and Site Lead at Google Beijing, directing the development of the Knowledge Graph while managing commerce and infrastructure teams. Xuemei Gu holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
