Adriana Mendez

Adriana Mendez is an accomplished professional in sustainability and climate change with extensive experience in investment processes and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Sustainability at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec since April 2023, Adriana previously held the position of Investment Lead at Sustainable Development Technology Canada, leading investment processes for companies with technological innovations that yield environmental and societal benefits. Prior to that, Adriana worked at EY, managing complex projects related to climate change and sustainability, including greenhouse gas emissions audits and sustainability strategies. Adriana’s earlier roles include positions at CRIBIQ, Enviro-Access, and involvement in board member capacities for various organizations. Adriana holds a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from McGill University.
