Guillaume Provencher

Guillaume Provencher, Ph.D., has extensive experience in data science, currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) since May 2015, following roles as a Data Scientist and Data Analyst within the same organization. Prior to this, Guillaume held positions at Université de Montréal from January 2007 to May 2015, including System Administrator, Technical Assistant, and Graduate Research Assistant, focusing on complex problem-solving and academic writing. Guillaume's early research internships at Université de Sherbrooke involved projects on colossal magnetoresistance and positron tomography. An academic background includes a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Université de Montréal (2007-2012) and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Université de Sherbrooke (2002-2006).
