Pablo Cironi has a wealth of experience in the life sciences industry. Since 2018, they have been the Director of Life Science Investment Funds and a Principal at Caixa Capital Risc. Pablo has also held board positions at MedLumics, S.L., AELIX Therapeutics, Minoryx Therapeutics, GlyCardial Diagnostics, SANIFIT, Splice Bio, and AptaTargets since 2018. In addition, they have been the Head of the Technology and Business Development Office at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) since 2013, and a Technology Development Manager at the Fundación Botín since 2009. In these roles, they have been responsible for planning and implementing the Innovation and Business Strategy of CRG, managing early stage academic and investor relationships, and directing R&D and business development initiatives.
Pablo Cironi received their MSc. in Chemistry from the University of Buenos Aires between 1995 and 2000. Pablo then went on to earn their PhD in Organic Chemistry from Universitat de Barcelona between 2001 and 2004. Afterwards, they completed a Postdoctoral fellowship in Synthetic Biology - Protein Engineering at Harvard Medical School from 2005 to 2009.
