Paula Feliciano Viegas serves as Chief Sustainability Officer at Banco Montepio since January 2023 and holds the position of Executive Board Member at UNA Portugal since June 2022. With a long tenure at Câmara de Comércio Portugal-Moçambique since October 2015, Paula also has experience as Executive Director at APEE until November 2023 and as Convenor for the UN Global Compact's Women's Empowerment Principles in Portugal until November 2023. Previous roles include leading Sustainable Branding at Albatroz, serving as Head of Corporate Sustainability at Caixa Geral de Depósitos from October 2013 to January 2020, and contributing to the Sustainable Finance Working Group of the European Banking Federation. Paula is currently pursuing a PhD in Management, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship at Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, holds a Master's in Business Administration from Instituto Superior de Gestão, and a degree in Design & Communication from Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto.

Caixa Economica Montepio Geral (CEMG) is a Portugal-based saving bank. The Bank provides a range of general banking services to its customers, from individuals to corporations. CEMG is dedicated to promote savings and to provide credit to private segments, micro, small and medium enterprises (SME) and institutions of Social Economy. CEMG has four operational segments: Private Banking, which concentrates on encouraging family savings, especially through time deposits and other longer term products; Corporate Banking, related to corporations and businesses; Third Sector Banking, which is based on proximity with the various social institutions and the building of commercial partnerships and the signing of agreements with Social Economy institutions and Microcredit, which consists of supporting business ideas through small sum financing.
