Javier Pujol Amat

Javier Pujol Amat has extensive work experience in various finance and auditing roles. Javier began their career at Arthur Andersen & Co. as a Senior Auditor from 1992 to 1994. Javier then joined PepsiCo, where they served as an International Corporate Auditor from 1994 to 1996, Commercial Administration & Credit Manager from 1996 to 1997, and Planning Manager for South/East Market Units from 1997 to 2001. Afterwards, they worked at Laureate International Universities as the VP Finance Controller WSI from 2001 to 2004 and Director Financial Controls from 2004 to 2007. Javier then joined Vueling Airlines, where they held various positions, including Finance Director & Head of Investor Relations from 2007 to 2011 and Internal Audit Director in 2007. Javier later worked as the Finance Director at Volotea from 2011 to 2013. Most recently, they have been employed at CaixaBank Payments & Consumer as the Group CFO since July 2019, after serving as the CFO of CaixaBank Payments from 2014 to June 2019.

Javier Pujol Amat holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Universitat de Barcelona. Additionally, they have earned a Diploma in Corporate Financial Strategies from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, USA. Javier also completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration at the University of Edinburgh.
