Sandra Jódar Rosell

Sandra Jódar Rosell has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Sandra started their career in 1999 as a Junior Internal Auditor at Endesa. Sandra then worked as a Research Assistant in the Economics Department at IESE Business School from 2001 to 2002 and again in 2003.

From 2006 to 2014, Sandra worked as an Economist at CaixaBank, where they provided continuous analysis of the Spanish banking sector's competitive environment, performed business volume forecasting, and supported other departments in banking issues.

In 2014, Sandra was promoted to Senior Economist at CaixaBank's Economic Analysis Unit within the Research Department. In this role, they played a crucial role in strategic planning, analysis of the competitive landscape, and regulatory developments. Sandra also wrote economic newsletters on topics such as banking, regulation, and competition policy.

From 2015 to 2019, Sandra took on the role of a Senior Economist at the Innovation Department of CaixaBank. Sandra was responsible for analyzing the impact of fintech on competition in the banking industry, analyzing regulatory reforms, and leading the development of big data applications and digital banking transformation projects.

Sandra's most recent position at CaixaBank was as the Head of Strategic Planning, a role they held from March 2019 until now. In this role, they oversee the bank's strategic planning initiatives.

Sandra Jódar Rosell holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, which they completed from 1995 to 1999. Sandra then pursued their further education at Toulouse School of Economics, where they obtained a DEA in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics from 2002 to 2003. Sandra also completed a Diplôme Européen d'Economie Quantitative Approfondie (DEEQA) from Toulouse School of Economics in 2003. Finally, Sandra Jódar Rosell earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from Toulouse School of Economics, which they completed from 2003 to 2008.
